Her paternal grandsire is LMC BBS 5C/157 “Zydeco” who represents one of La Muneca’s most successful bloodlines crossing 6G/LMC Rajin Cajun and Jennie Walker. The 556/8 Brahman cow on the top side of Kate’s pedigree is also the dam to La Muneca & La Negra’s lead Red Brahman donor +Miss Triple C 5/4, who is in the American Brahman Breeders Association’s prestigious Register of Renown. The 5/4 cow is the dam to the popular LMC LN Polled Pappo bull and their donor LMC LN Polled Crystal 166/7 who was Reserve Champion Red Brahman Female at the Texas State Show for Cecilia Guerra. 556/8 is backed by Brahman breed legends from the J.D. Hudgins and V8 Ranch programs which include JDH’s Dakota, Karu, and Madison as well as V8’s 202 bull.
Switching gears to the Simmental side of this pedigree, Kate is out of HPF Perfection Z057 that Marshall selected from the famed Hudson Pines Farm program out of New York. Z057 was a many times champion for Marshall and is also the dam to Jaime Salinas’ 3CC Mia female that had a successful show career herself. Kate’s maternal grandsire is the great Lock N Load bull that had a tremendous impact on the Simmental breed. GENERAL TERMS
Any announcements at the time of auction or bidding will take precedence over material previously provided.
All cattle must be picked up within 10 days of the conclusion of the sale, or a $12.00/day feed and yardage fee will be applied, unless prior arrangements have been made.
Payments are to be cash, approved check, or wire transfer. Payment must be received before the animal leaves the property. If payment arrangements have not been made within 10 days, the sale transaction shall be void and seller shall retain ownership together with the right to sell the animal to another buyer. PLA reserves the right to process a buyer's credit card on file for any lot(s) purchased if payment has not been made within ten (10) days of the event. A 4% processing and handling fee will be applied on all credit/debit card transactions.
Transportation of livestock is the sole responsibility of the buyer. All shipping of any kind shall be at buyer's expense.
Any extraordinary health certificates, tests, or documentation required for shipment shall be at buyer's expense.
This sale is governed by Texas law.
All standard sales held on the Premier Livestock Auctions (PLA) website are conducted with the horserace-style closing format. This means that at the posted closing time for any given event, that event will enter into a period called extended bidding. Extended bidding periods are five (5) minutes. Extended bidding will continue until there has been no bidding activity for the duration of the set extended bidding increment. At that time, the event will close and all lots will be declared sold to the highest Bidder.
