Hello, My name is Hazel Thompson. I am 12 years old and Ive been in 4H for 6 years including Cloverbuds. This year I have been raising 2 Hampshire pigs and a Hampshire Suffolk cross sheep. My pig has been the most frustrating animal I have ever owned but through our progressing hard work my pig has become the best market and showmanship pig I have raised so far. They have all given me challenges in different ways but, thank God I have overcome most of them and grown to be a better showman through it all! This year I am very confident that I will do well in the show and in the auction arena with my adorable and delicious pig. My animals are nice and juicy plus they are very well muscled for your dinner table. Please come and see me show my sheep on Wednesday the 23rd at 1:00pm and my pigs on the 24th at 9:00am. Also I invite you to come and join us at the live or online auction on Saturday where there will be BBQ. Thank you for your interests in the young 4-H ranchers of Eagle County.
