Desmond Parker Duck

Hi, my name is Desmond Parker, and I want to invite you to come to the auction this year! This is my fifth year in 4-H showing and selling market swine and Pekin ducks. Every year, I’ve learned so much about caring for animals, feeding them right, keeping them healthy, and getting them ready for show. I really enjoy working with them and seeing how much they grow.

Besides 4-H, I’m part of the Freedom Riders Drill Team and Horse Club. I love riding horses and competing in ranch events and horse shows. In my spare time, I play lots of sports—soccer is my favorite, and I also love skiing in the winter. I’m also active in Civil Air Patrol, where I get to learn about aviation and leadership. I really enjoy spending time with my friends and family and also like building scale models and learning about avionics.

My dream is to become a pilot one day. I’m planning to use the funds I earn from 4-H to help pay for flight school and support my goal of flying. I want to say a huge thank you to everyone in the community for all of your support over the years. It really means a lot, and you’ve all been so amazing. I hope you’ll come to the auction to see my projects this year. Thank you so much for supporting 4-H and kids like me!
