Sandglass Ranch "Best of the West" Online Sale
December 6-7, 2023

It is an extreme honor to be able to work with The Allen Family of Sandglass Ranch in presenting to you their second annual “Best of The West Bloodstock” Online Sale.  I have worked with Chris Allen and his team for the past three years. As you can tell no time has been wasted in purchasing and producing some of the highest quality and most sought-after genetics in the breed.

I encourage you to evaluate this offering and take advantage of these proven and exclusive matings.  This is only the beginning for this progressive operation.  They are deep rooted, have staying power, and will be a recognized brand that you will want to be affiliated with.  It should be noted that ALL animals sell in their entirety to prevent any future inconvenience or production disruption of the buyer.

This offering speaks for itself, and we have tried to provide as much information as possibly in the sale profiles.  However, if you have any questions or need additional information feel free to contact Chris Shivers: 713-202-1747 or Chris Allen: 214-725-6022.

Miss Sandglass 55/2 is one of our favorites in the sale!!! We like so many things about this growthy, big boned, heavy muscled, long bodied, level made, and super feminine female.  55/2 is a maternal half sister to lot 2 being out of LMC LF Polled Marisa 149/7 (P).  As you read above Marisa results from combining the 2015 International Champion and proven sire +Mr. H Elijah Manso 281/2 with the 2016 Reserve International Champion and proven donor dam +LMC Polled Passion 55/4.  We mated this well-bred donor with Mr. H Able Manso 307/9.  We are huge fans of Able and in fact were the very first breeders in the USA to purchase his semen.  Able was an All American Reserve Grand Champion where he also was named as the High Scanning Carcass Bull.  Heritage Cattle Company has used this bull successfully and as a result of his superior progeny an exclusive was recently sold on him to Australia.  Able is a son of JDH Turkana Manso who won the 2021 International Champion Get of Sire and out of the former show winner and now proven donor Lady H Barbie Manso 319/2.  We see the breeding potential of 55/2 being HUGE due to her pedigree and build!
