By now, you have heard us talk at length about ECC Polled Maverick 302/9 (P). Therefore, it should be no surprise that we are offering a semen package on the sire that hands-down has the most influential impact on the offering this year! Maverick’s story is one of a once-in-a-lifetime bull that we are truly humbled to be part of his journey. He is a bull that we campaigned for three years, and is one of only two bulls that we have ever carried to Houston as a three-year-old, second only to Caporal who put us on the map internationally. As a late yearling, and even before his first offspring, JRL Stud of Australia selected Maverick as the sire that they wanted to influence their elite herd and purchased his exclusive semen rights. A year ago, one of the most progressive operations in the USA, B.R. Cutrer, Inc., purchased an interest in the bull, due to his superiority. This offering is only the second time that semen has been offered outside of a limited run in Houston at the International Show. As you can tell with 10 of the lots in this sale being influenced by Maverick, he has played a significant role in our program, those of our partners, and the breeders who have purchased his semen. Maverick is sired by #Bardia Ambassador, the 2017 Australian Sire of the Year, and out of the proven donor, Miss Double A 468/7 one of our top donors who has 32 progeny to her credit including LMC ECC LF Polled Lolo 127/4 (S) and ECC Polled Comandante 749 (S) who are both influential in our program. We are extremely high on Maverick and look forward to continuing to see his influence in herds around the world! Selling 5 straws of semen with 5 breeding certificates. Additional certificates may be purchased for $100/certificate. The semen can only be used by the buyer and is non-transferable.

Terms

Purchase price = 5x the bid. All semen sales are for in-herd AI and ET use, only. Semen sales are non-refundable and non-transferable. Upon calving, ECC will provide buyers with a maximum of five (5) certificates. Additional certificates may be purchased for $100 per certificate. Semen is stored at Brushy Creek Custom Sires. Semen will be released to buyer upon receipt of payment. Buyer is responsible for arranging pickup/shipping from the storage facility.
